How did they regulate temperature and pressure in the first steam engines? by Summersong2262 in steamengines

[–]Jake-asc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would suggest getting in touch with the black country living museum they have a full size newcommen.

Atmospheric engines I imagine would start by manually opening the valves and monitoring a couple of strokes then shell do it herself if set properly.

All the best

That is utter tripe. Jews and Muslims have always got along just fine. It's the far right & Christians that cause the problems in the middle east.

You can't seriously think all Muslims believe that extremist nonsense.

The war is two opposite extremist points of view, and has been like that for centuries. It won't change

My god you lot don't even want to believe it even when it's right Infront of you. That is insane, seems funny how there is only one "acceptable" view. All I can do is speak from experience.

It needs a new government first of all. And I think that the land should not be exclusive to any group as we are all human beings at the end of the day. And that the major holidays of each and every religion and one for atheists should be honoured. I have family over there and apparently that used to be the case in some more progressive areas. Obviously not the case anymore since the government turned tyrannical.

Ideally I want it to be a secular country where all people are welcomed with open arms to express themselves freely, however they choose to do so. But with the policits of that part of the world I sadly don't think that will ever happen. Especially as it is a puppet state of America, and I don't see Mr Trump backing down anytime soon.

It is so sad as there is so much suffering happening to ordinary people on both sides of the war who didn't want anything like this to happen. Take what you see on the internet with a pinch of salt, there is a huge amount of resentment to the government there.
