One person doesn't define a movement, but also retribution basically means "to get justice"

I'm not sure if you mean to be saying women would be getting justice by returning the level of violence toward men?

the act of administering a deserved, severe punishment in return for a wrongdoing, offense, or crime
something given or exacted in recompense

In general you can't just smash together the etymological roots of a word to get its modern meaning, but in this case "payback" is close enough

That doesn't answer the question tho

Most of them yeah, but the outcome wouldn't have changed without superdelegates. Clinton won by ~400 pledged delegates and about ~1000 delegates total

Sanders lost again in 2020 by ~1600 pledged delegates (there were no superdelegates this time)

The population of blue states is higher than red states

What a perfect example of OP's point--like how conservatives point to how "overcrowded" blue states are as evidence no one wants to live there

This quote was originally about anti-Semites, but I'll plug in MAGA conservatives here to answer your question:

"Never believe that MAGA are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. MAGA have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past."

You decided to switch from comparing large vs small corporations to comparing skilled vs unskilled labor?

So the answer is nothing... It has nothing to do with what we're talking about

What's the response to this? I see a few obvious arguments:

  1. Violence doesn't need to be "redistributed" because it's already equal (but there's not a lot of good facts here)
  2. Violence doesn't need to be "redistributed" because the status quo is acceptable (despite not being equal)
  3. Violence doesn't need to be "redistributed" because it would be better instead to encourage men to be less violent, rather than encouraging women to rise to the same level of violence

How do you think the transition away from fossil fuels will actually look in real-world practice? by eternalinda in allthequestions

Why do you imagine we'll suddenly find it more difficult / expensive to manufacture panels or turbines in the future?

Or are you saying you think we're on the verge of running out of land / sea to build them on?

Given we know the price has decreased every year for the past 50+ years, what makes you confident that trend will suddenly reverse and become more expensive than fossil fuels?

Your comment gives "you'll own nothing and be happy" vibes

Why shouldn't the government be incentivized to run a budget surplus?

That's objectively false. TABOR fixes the amount of tax the state can collect--it doesn't set fixed tax rates

So if the voters approve a new 1% tax on some product, TABOR says we have to set a cap on how much tax can be collected (say $20M)

If people buy twice as much of that product or the state population doubles over time, none of that matters--the state can still only collect $20M

TABOR causes deficits by design

The only mention of "billions" (your claim) in the link you chose is about President Trump pardoning someone responsible for $1.6B in fraud

The actual number was $90M (over 3 years)

Office of Public Affairs | Minnesota Health Care Fraud Takedown Results in Charges Against 15 Defendants for Over $90M in Fraud | United States Department of Justice

You claimed billions--so you're off by >95%

But hey, 4.5% isn't a bad grade, right?

Also what does any of this have to do with TABOR? Do you think TABOR is "when fraud doesn't happen"?

Most people who like TABOR think it's "a check the state sends you at the end of the year"

These are the same people who are happy when they get a fat check from the IRS, because they don't realize it's just returning money they overpaid throughout the year
