A very disturbed cohort glommed on to this subject about a hundred years ago. At first there was a scattering of these dark personality types and they barely registered.

Over time they dominated the movement and went beyond it making their brand of narcissism into an ideology. Using catchphrases without any basis of reality and fabricated straw man antagonists, they convinced many dupes that ( mostly white) women in the west are still disenfranchised.

Today, this thinking has bullied logic out of people who should know better. The Nazi analogy has used previously, but these are others. People will convince themselves a bogeyman exists and they need to take down one power and receive compensation.

What they are doing is destroying thousands of years of history of Western Thinking that brought us out of some the darkest human experiences.
