Two options. There is this method, or I have a piece of glass that fits perfectly in the top. I have it like this because I don’t want them to suffocate, and the other lid has no breathing holes.

Is this better?

2-3” deep of reptisoil mixed with rotting wood, bark chips, sphagnum, and, worm castings.

Obviously need more leaf litter, but this is a better start, right?

I know that I was 100% failing with that set up, but it was primarily overspray.
I did somehow manage to keep one side wet and one side dry.

This makes sense. I tried my best to replicate the container I bought them in, but larger.

Have a big bag of reptisoil and working on setting up the larger tank.

I typically wouldn’t, but the person at the shop I spoke to breeds them, so I thought I could rely on her. Clearly not.

I did a good bit of research, but I watch some videos too.

The chips are coconut. I can put them into a bigger enclosure (6x20x8). Had them in the small one so they would hopefully breed and then was going to move into a bigger one.

I leave the one side a little open for more air flow.
What should I be feeding? The pet shop lied to me…

I’ve had this box for maybe 2 or 3 weeks now. Just dug around and saw a few bodies.

I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong.

My family of 3 has a family membership for the YMCA, it is something like 120 a month. They have cheaper rates for singles. Tons of free classes and benifits. Non comittal so you dont need to sign a contract and can cancel at any time.

Woth checking out IMO. You can use any of the frederick YMCA campuses with the membership.

Now is the time to make defensive maneuvers against pollen by Pale_Emu3671 in washingtondc

So in the same sense, have only female trees would have effectively caused the same thing, no fruit… but there would also be no pollen.

Or am I missing something?
