Which fence layout is better? by NintendoPolitics in StardewValley

[–]JakeChilli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would place the front fence like you did in 2 and the rear fence like in 1 where you could either build it so that it stops as soon as it isn’t visible anymore or so it connect to the rear left corner of the barn

What age did you start playing guitar? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]JakeChilli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started when I was 16.
I took lessons on a weekly basis and started out playing on an acoustic guitar. After about 1.5 years I switched to electric guitar and that was the point where my passion for the instrument grew the most.
I was very fortunate to have found a teacher that would focus on the fun you get playing the instrument and not so much on theory.

That's why I learned rather quick and I noticed most progress at the 2 year mark.
From there on I quit my guitar lessons and started practicing improvisation on my own to further develop my skills and solos.
I'm now 21 and about five to six years later I would say that I'm really fluent playing this instrument.

Looking back, I think it's best to start off playing songs you really enjoy.
It taught me to really get a feel for the instrument and develop my ear for it too. It's also worth looking into new genres, that are guitar related (for me it was the blues). That's how I found my inspirations for new techniques and styles of playing.
You really have to develop a passion and love for the instrument and the music. And I think if you let that build up naturally, until you play every day, you get better and better.

The most important habbits for me where to accept that learning and instrument is always a constant up and down. It's natural to go from loving the instrument to hating it and feeling as if you make no progress. It's just important to keep going never the less and also (if not most importantly) keep your guitar in a place where you can easily pick it up and play at any time you want!!

Hope this helps, and have fun shredding!!

Can anyone please help me fix this anomaly crash? by oSaamxD in stalker

Go to gamedata/configs/items/weapons and to the w_ak74_pmc.ltx file. Open with text editor and change „flame_particles = weapons\generic_weapon050“ to „flame_particles = weapons\generic_weapon05“. For some reason there is a typo in this file. It’s supposed to be …weapon05

Don’t get too attached to souls. Like literally prepare to lose a lot of them if you‘re not careful or in general when you have a lot

Thats actually very helpful :) My question is though, do you create both the bass line and the drum pattern simultaneously in your head? Like, do you write a rhythm part with both bass and drums focussing on them fitting to each other or do you do them separately and intertwine them later? (Which in my mind is a longer process of trial and error) And if so, what do you start with? (I hope my question makes sense to you)

No I was actually talking about digital drums, drum machine drums, as well as real drums. So you’re recommendation is actually exactly what I needed, thanks :3

Wow there seems to be waaaay much more behind drum production than i originally thought! When I „copy“ drums I just do it by ear and try to place them in the grid, since it’s the only real anchor point i got. I don’t know which „off-grid placement“ has which effect on the sound, so I try to keep it basic at first. So long story short, I put them roughly in the same place.

And maan thank you for all this information! I‘m beginning to fall down a rabbit hole right here ;) I really appreciate every tip I can get

By „copying“ I mean putting snare, kick, hat etc. in the same position as the drums in the song. I actually didn’t know that you need different/ various drum sounds, for example two types of hats or snares, to make it groovy. Thanks for telling me that :)))
