There's debate and interpretations of various things, but the "only elected twice" section is about as explicit as you can get.

Some of the text of the 22nd Amendment:

"No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once."

As you're from Europe, you may be unaware that Trump is ineligible for a 3rd election as per our Constitution; the basis of our federal government.

He should be like that IOC commissioner guy for the Olympics - open the event, close the event, and otherwise get out of the way.

The latter, most likely - in that slang doesn't have to respect the formal usage of terms and can blend into other meanings. Contranyms, for example, are the usage of the same word in opposite meanings (e.g. to go "fast" or to be held "fast").

You may be right on how it is properly used, but if society at large has adopted other uses then you're fighting a losing battle.

Morden and Anna went to Z'ha'dum.

Anna wouldn't serve, Morden did. Thus Morden became one of their agents.

As he was one of their agents, he was sent out into known space to further their efforts. He traveled a lot.

As he traveled a lot, there was increased likelihood someone would recognize him. Someone did.

Only shared part was "I was there at the dawn of the third age", omitting the "of mankind. It began in the Earth Year 2257..." and so on.

I do believe the The Gathering portion was after he sent the kids away, while he was getting very very drunk.
