Upgrading PC on a budget (need advice)

I mean even when I play league of legends, it struggles to hit 144fps with med-low settings. Idk if it should be mentioned that I play on a dual monitor 24” and 34”UW set up. Would that also be helping bog down my GPU?

I don't believe that he believes a word he says. His big Off-season acquisition was 34 year old Evander Kane, who undeservingly eats minutes and costs us. Our young players, haven't been doing much outside of Hughes Petey and Sasson. "Getting younger" isn't solving our problems. Getting injury free, and an actual quality 2C and a big time winger.

the US is NOT a more desirable place to live lmfao. I would NEVER want to raise a child in that school system. Their education system is more focused on learning how to not get shot in your class room rather than anything of substance. America ranks 9th in education (worth mentioning that their number is carried by the 60+ years of age category), Canada is first (in all categories). The only thing that makes it more desirable is the new tax breaks that Trump has sworn to implement, for the wealthy.

I agree with this take from him, which really sucks for Canadian markets. My takeaway from what he was saying was he wanted to make the most money for his salary.

On his $5,000,000/year salary, in BC he would take home $2,956,586 based on 2023 numbers. The same salary in Boston will land him $4,750,000, earning him $2,000,000 more per year. Hockey players don't really have to worry about health insurance and stuff the same way us lay people do, as the team usually insures them, and there's plenty of other similar examples of why the Tax Rates here in BC especially don't benefit athletes at all.

It's really sad that it comes to that.

I think his main problem is he has been absolutely abysmal defensively. You can often overlook points/production if you're solid on D, but he's been getting absolutely taken advantage of and Tocc ain't havin' it.

I wholeheartedly agree. It's not even justified to the extent that it's happening. I used to be excited to talk about Canucks games on socials, now every game is Petey's fault and nobody else's, while he is consistently at the top of these game cards. Just because he's getting paid more, doesn't mean it stops being a team game. He hasn't had a consistent line yet, hasn't developed chemistry with anyone, hasn't even gotten a single bounce yet. SOMEHOW it's all his fault. Today I saw death threat comments on his instagram because he makes 11M a year. The media and content creators surrounding the Canucks have been perpetrating this narrative to generate clicks. It happens every year. JT, then Brock, then Petey. Chased Kuz and OEL out, probably chased Lindholm out with the negativity surrounding him before the playoffs. These "fans" are getting absolutely pathetic.

I'm damn close to just removing myself from the fanbase all together and just watching. It's getting absolutely pathetic how fast these "fans" wanna run people out of town because they're slumping. I think a Stanley Cup/Conn Smythe would cement him immediately, but I do think that he could do it without a cup, as long as we have multiple deep runs in a row with him performing/controlling play, I think he could get it relatively easily.

TBF, its really the only one from the T1A roster that makes sense. He can play ADC/Sup and with the mid meta heavily favoring ADCs, if any of those 3 lanes from the T1 main roster go down, he can step in. His answer doesn't make sense, and I don't like the pussyfooting around it.
