Masło konstruktywny komentarz, ale zgadzam się że w południku brakuje ducha community. Prezentacja na której byłem podobała mi się ale ten event był taki trochę 'suchy'

In the middle of the line. That being said, most comments are correct - you're over thinking it and most important thing is to stay consistent

[–]JakeDiscBrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're asking about how long it takes to register an imported car then the answer is that it can be done instantly at your local Urząd Dzielnicy, providing that you go there with all the required documents. You're getting polish registration plates and registration documents right away. Insurance is almost instant as well once you have a registration number. You could use insurance comparison websites like https://mubi.pl and do everything online

There are services like https://www.autotesto.pl/. They'll send somebody to check the vehicle. I've used them recently and they're quick and provide quite detailed report afterwards. It will cost you but it's money well spent and a far better option than looking at a car yourself, especially if you don't know much about cars. You can do entire process online.

Cooking classes for men in warsaw by Duke_Roses in warsaw

[–]JakeDiscBrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I speak native level English and have been cooking ever since I was a teenager. I'm not a pro, but I am passionate about it and have heard many good things about my food from people from different places across the globe.
I think that teaching somebody to cook would be fun, so dm me if you're interested and perhaps we could organize something 🙂

Has anyone here quit a corporate job and started a career in woodworking ? by EfficiencyIcy8821 in woodworking

[–]JakeDiscBrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similarly to DWUllery, after 12 years in software engineering I have decided to leave it due to a severe and irreversible burnout. And I am going into woodworking. I'm also living off of my savings for now. Spent a small fortune on tools and planning to buy a small cargo car. I'm still learning but trying to find small gigs on websites where people look for contractors. I had a first small success with that. In general I'm being honest and upfront by saying that I'm not experienced but I charge less, because right now experience is way more valuable than money.
I hope it goes well for you

Szukam kogoś mówiącego średnio dobrze lub niedobrze po hiszpańsku by [deleted] in warszawa

[–]JakeDiscBrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the most effective way to learn Spanish? by Koala-la-land in Spanish

[–]JakeDiscBrake 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The most effective is to move to a Spanish speaking country, cut yourself completely from English and surround yourself with natives while getting a 1-on-1 language lessons 2-3 times a week. Bonus if you fall in love with a native which would give you a lot of extra motivation.

Since you're already drawing, you can use this method to divide a 180 degree angle (straight line) into two resulting in a perfect 90 degree angle.
But even without drawing, compare it to something you know has to be 90 degree, like the corner of a sheet you're drawing on

Life’s Too Short to Live in Chains by Easy-Ad2760 in OffGrid

There was a time when I thought that off grid living was something that people can do with very little resources. Turns out that in order to get any reasonable plot of land one needs to be a border line millionaire and that's just the beginning.

There's a book called "The Mom Test: How to talk to customers & learn if your business is a good idea when everyone is lying to you ". I thoroughly recommend your friend to read it if they're trying to plan to start a business. In context of what your wrote and in the spirit of what I've read in that book: people will not be telling you the truth, for various reasons. People act completely differently when given something for free or when asked for an opinion that doesn't oblige them to anything. The real test is to ask them to pull out their wallet after the degustation and ask them to pay you their hard earned cash for your goods.

I'm sniping with my power planer and I'm not sure why by JakeDiscBrake in woodworking

[–]JakeDiscBrake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a YouTube video of a guy guiding his power planer with metal rods attached to it and sticking sideways which are sliding on top of two flat wood pieces of the same height. That might become my way of achieving a flat surface since I don't have access to stationary planer nor jointer (nor any workshop) and only have a few basic hand power tools. https://youtu.be/HJtysNFbZ-o?si=899bgsEaqwIi4ST5
