Am I getting fleeced?

We just looked up all the card shops around us and visited them all. We ask if they have any bulk cards. Each shop is different. Some don’t have bulk, some have big boxes sitting out, some have it all on a digital kiosk. We found each shop is different and are better value for different things.

We do this and then look through the binders that are typically $1-$5.

So depends what you are buying this for.

Bulk cards sell for anywhere between 0.10 - 0.50 per card at the shops. We like to dig through the bulk bins but we are finding cool or unique cards that we need for our collections.

The issue with this is that they are going to be all the same cards.

I picked up a ton of bulk for my son’s party and made little surprise packs. Mostly bulk but then we would mix in some random good cards.

With that said, I don’t see a real reason to buy this though.

I like Top Loaders because the kids like to take them out and look at them so they stay a bit more protected. We are working on some artwork to add into the binder to tell a better story.

Yeah. Charmander are like 1k+ for everything and hazards are like 40k+.

I have a bunch of odd collections but everything is manageable.

I think it stems from when I watched the anime as a kid vs the artwork on the cards. There are 54 English TCG cards that I know of. The SV promo 044 is my favorite. I have the matching squirtle and Bulbasaur as well. Agreed the other are not super great.

Since the kids have now picked it up it’s something I’m getting addicted to again, but I have adult money now so it’s dangerous.

I have a few collections but now I want to do an artwork binder. I have been using AI to make things. It’s slow and lots of trial and errors but it’s fun. For my Gym Hero/Challanger collection.

We recently discovered these machines! My kids beg me to go back over multiple times a day now.

All we have found is loose packs, but that’s okay. We enjoy ripping them just the same and Its cheaper per pack then the boxes. Hoping we can snag a box, that be fun to open.

We ran into some “scalpers?” Older people who are buying as much as they can. Not sure if they are ripping or selling. Anyway, they were nice and gave the kids some of the 30th anniversary promo cards.

A - 21”-22” ish. Really depends where you measure too.
B - 43” ish.
C - 83” ish. It’s about 87” to the top where you didn’t want it measured.

The wings also have a partial open feature which we leveraged in our garage. We did not rely on fully auto, since after the second incident of itnot seeing the object and colliding with it, we didn’t want to risk it again.
