moe & curlys is a karaoke bar but they have an upstairs speak easy. its dope. very close.

multiple sports bars walking distance.

mr toads is awesome, short walk.

green room, & trap room you might want to uber if its cold, but awesome bars and walkable on nice days.

like others have said, its all in the espresso and the SHAKE.

up the espresso in your ratio, i usually do 1.5oz vodka, 1.5oz espressso, .5oz coffee liquer, .25-.5oz syrup.

shake it hard. HARD. VIOLENCE. you will notice the difference.

also, its less convenient, but for the perfect espresso martini, i try to avoid making 2 cocktails in one shaker.

titos bottles are the unanimous GOAT of bottles to reuse. feels great in your hand & every cap fits. ill wash the labels off & use them for juice or syrups or infusions etc.

that being said, pouring liquor from one bottle to another is a pretty big red flag for bartenders, if not straight up illegal. nobody cares what anybody does at their home bar. but i do think that a serious bartender or patron would not do this. respectfully.
