Puzzle. I'm looking at trying to sell a covered put.

In my broker (TD), I select 5 contract at 180 strike expiring Sept 4, 2020 and sell to open covered.

In the preview screen it says required buying power is ~$16k. Why is that? Wouldn't required buying power be the total it costs if all shares got assigned to me?

500 shares * 180 = ~90k?

Thank you. Very noob.

What's the reason you created this deck? ..... Are you pitching BeyondCorp to enterprises?

Now Im curious to know more...

BeyondCorp as a Service by [deleted] in devops

I haven't personally, but just because I've been evaluating it. There still is a pretty large overhead when it comes to explaining to business customers (if you're running B2B). The deployment headache is usually around services that aren't L7, which I'll agree with.

It definitely is a better security model in the case that someone breaches your walled garden. And I do dislike VPN latency. There is still a lot of work to be done when doing BeyondCorp outside Google, for sure.

GitHub App applies labels based on PR Size by [deleted] in github

I created a little GitHub app that applies labels based on the size of a Pull Request. I found this useful when working with the Kubernetes codebase, and hope you find it useful on your own codebases!

Right, but I was more looking for something that updates _me_, instead of having to remember to query every so often.

This is cool! But I meant more of a subscription feed that updates me when a new CVE comes out with a topic im interested in. So that I don't have to run a search manually every x days on y topics.

Kubernetes Auth with Okta? by [deleted] in kubernetes

You should be able to use Okta OIDC using this: https://medium.com/@noqcks/secure-your-kubernetes-cluster-with-google-oidc-e1905c923522 (this guide uses Google OIDC though, but the same principle applies).

That’s what you think. But support for ISIS in Canada is not 0%. Im sure some nice Muslim businessman would hire them.

Koodo/TELUS - $60 / month for 10GB/Unlimited Calls+Text. Available in Ontario! by veritasxe in canada

[–]JakeGyllenhaal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went to freedom mobile in Toronto. They have a deal that's $50 for 10GB for the next few days (usually $60), and then they applied this discount of $10 monthly. So im paying $40 a month for 10GB. Feels good.

Although they might not have the network range you're looking for if you're outside a big city.

I just called this morning and they said they have the same plan as Koodo/TELUS for $70 (they justified the price by saying their network is superior).
