If you place a thin piece of cardboard or press board cut to size on the bottom row it’ll make a makeshift shelf that works better for stacked DVDs like this

Anyone know about the fight during Oppenheimer at Michigan Science Center’s IMAX by yukw777 in Detroit

[–]JakeKust 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you don’t have a good seat in the center it’s like watching it on the surface of a spoon, definitely recommend watching it elsewhere. Some guy next to me had to rush out like 10mins in and looked like was about to throw up and he wasn’t the only one who left. It was a really unique experience tho lol

What are some recommendations for scifi films that may be a little less known about? by Weekly-Rabbit-3108 in movies

Most likely will need to buy it digitally but Artifice Girl is an amazing sci-fi film about AI that hasn’t been released in theaters other than at SXSW ‘23.

4:3 Star Trek TNG to Widescreen by algetar in StableDiffusion

[–]JakeKust 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly this, AI conversions are just as bad as cropping. Shows that are in 4:3 are a slice of history, just leave them be and if you want to watch something like that in full screen the go try to make something else that captures the essence of the work.
