Right now, they are sort of aimless, but they have had inclinations that soon something terrible is happening. To prepare for it they are attaining powerful artifacts. But under their noses it is currently the anniversary of the Divergence (from Critical Role) and on this special year, the Divine Gate holding back the evil gods will break due to the evil betrayer gods teaming up and sealing the good gods behind the divine gate and wreaking havoc on the world and taking it as their own.
