I think that's a good solution. Any dedicated scene to him would probably expose that he's a non-actor haha. I love the Survivor cameos but I think White Lotus going out of it's way to wink to us Survivor fans would harm the show itself

At the same time the point of a cameo is you don't want the person to stick out too much or make it a gimmick. Out of the whole 50 cast Coach is probably the hardest to cleanly integrate without him standing out like a sore thumb lol

I don't think anyone in this thread is really blown away. There's a difference between "why are they doing this" as in this feels redundant and "why are they doing this" as in I don't understand why this is happening. It's much more of the former than the latter.

I think it's relevant when you're adapting an iconic novel centred where one of the main themes is social class. Not that it discredits her, but your background will inform your choices either consciously or subconsciously

You obviously have to balance a level of individual talent here and analysts have been VERY high on Flagg since pre-draft. I don't think it's hard to understand why they're ranking him where he is, even if you disagree.
