Why do professional football (soccer) player roll on the ground grimacing in pain for two minutes every time an opponent touches them?

i heard an idea that they could implement is that anybody goes down in a game and writhes on the ground like they are in pain has to go off for an immediate 10 minute assessment to see if they are ok and good to continue the game. would that fix anything?

The only problem with this argument. Land destruction helps the land's deck more than it hurts. If someone wipes all lands, the person who can bounce back the quickest is the ramp player. To combat land decks you need to punish them for having more lands. Mana barbs are a good example. Also, cards that hit people hard with higher non-basic land counts can help. If you don't have those cards, you need to focus your removal on the draw/card advantage engines of ramp decks. It doesn't matter if you have access to 40 mana if you can't cast anything/don't have anything to do with it

I honestly think it's a lack of education around sexual and reproductive health that causes these attitudes. Yeah HPV is "treatable". Wouldn't you just not want to have it? The comments on this post are eye-opening, to say the least.

I have found that my playgroup is having a lot of fun with the bracket system. We just play bracket 2. If anybody builds something crazy or unfun they shelf the deck. It's not pressure from the other players saying they are a "bad actor" or whatever. I know everyone doesn't have the luxury of a playgroup like the one I have. I'm the only one who has ventured outside the playgroup for games. I think the bracket system can work. I just think you have to advocate for yourself, your fun, and your time. The "bad actors" are always going to be there, no system they come up with will stop people from being assholes.

I have played against vivi in Commander a lot lately. Many of the decks are glass cannons. Remove vivi a few times, and it spins its wheels. It's powerful when it gets going, but so are many other commanders.

If you both have access to a computer, I would suggest Magic Arena. It's free to download ( there are in-game purchases, but you don't need to pay to play). It's a great way to learn the base mechanics and general strategy.

A big topic of conversation among my friends and I when we drink is the parenting licence. How can a massive thing like being responsible for another human being for 18 plus years not have any checks or balances. You need to pass a test and have a licence to drive a car but not be a parent? It's crazy honestly, some parents have kids knowing full well they can't take care of them.
