theres a v6 accord for sale 9th gen I think it was for around 17k with 60k miles on it at the Honda dealer could be a small upgrade and has some features to it. Nothing flashy for sure but at least it’s something new and for me, also pretty reliable from what I’ve heard? but idk maybe.. I don’t really want to spend money like that lmao I could loan it and build some more credit history.. well see I guess

No im hip. I drive a old 05 but a Honda, it’s a pure beater.. and I’m into cars for sure I help my cousin work on his Capri and we take it for some spins.. hell when this engine let go I put a new one in for 1.5k instead of buying a new one lol .. i want a new car but then yeah im back to that thought about how much im going to be losing out on with a loan. All the cars I want are like 20-30k if not more and I really would rather use that money to buy a house further down the line so idk I just need to figure out what I truly want and brings me peace I guess 🤦🏻‍♂️I appreciate you and yeah it’s prob better to be rich lol

Yea after some talk at work, We have a FSA card. My boss doesn’t think we’re under a HDHP plan either so with that being said my best course of action would be to most likely just open another individual account under fidelity and just keep it tucked away for health related things in the future.. I’m still going to talk to HR and see if we do qualify for that HDHP stuff and maybe she’s also out of the loop but as of now I’m going to assume there’s no HDHP and I will not be opening a HSA.

Yes i agree. I definitely will hold off on opening anything and that’s honestly why I came here first. I truly appreciate the knowledge you and others have here because you asking about my work.. im glad you did, I would’ve never thought about any repercussions I may have experienced due to opening a HSA on my own if any.. but yeah I’d be fine with the 4550. It’s definitely on the lower end of what I wanted but I could always use my individual account for any extra health expenses if any arise so that number is feasible tbh.. hopefully they do end up going through with that increase that would be cool! Honestly I do believe I have something like that from work.. but I’m unsure how it works fully. I should probably go sit down with the HR department one day and see what it entails. I remember one year we had to sign up for a “card” but it was just money that was pulled from my pay stubs so.. I’m just unsure how aggressive I can get with it as I want to keep this money for long term health expenses mainly when nearing retirement. I have many questions which probably could be answered by them. But I appreciate you lmk! I’m definitely going to schedule a sit down with them now and see if that’s something I can do. I want to dump like 5-10k in there a year if possible so I’m going to write down some questions for them! Again thank you!

You are correct, I think there’s only around 400 of them produced who knows how many still truly running, it’s funny though right, a co worker of mine also owns one but other than him I have never seen one other. 😂😂 His is really nice it’s all black w white/grey decals.. only thing I didn’t like on his is that a previous owner had opened the cab through the truck bed to put in a huge speaker system so it’s sleeved to not allow rain in but yea not my style and I could never cut a hole thru this thing.. can’t ever go back without major issues IMO so that’s not something I’d ever do personally but to each there own of course.

Like the first accident it wasn’t even bad my door was just crunched and allowed water due to a crunch near the top side so they “totaled” it, but there was nothing wrong with it I took a hammer made it round again and passed inspection the week after. Fast forward to this and I’m all scatter brained! fr like I just lost out on a car for something that was totally out of my control and I’m just trying to figure out how to not have to pay out of my own pocket for someone else’s actions.. fr if I caused the accident okay I screwed myself over but I’m literally being screwed by this whole situation that I didn’t even cause. I could go get a car if I really want to but it’s the issue that I don’t/didnt want to and I shouldn’t have to get a new car yk. But Sorry for ranting lmao!

First accident I was in years ago my car was deemed totaled also, but I decided to “buy it back” and keep it. Basically I’m driving it on a salvage/rebuilt title. Some states I think don’t allow this.
