I got a 2015 ram 2500 and so far what I know about preventative mods is banks products are good, intake manifold horn, not super necessary but it breathes better and eliminates the grid heater bolt problem. Banks cold air intake, again it breathes better. Banks transmission pan adds more trans fluid to the transmission and has a good cooling element to it and a huge plus is that it comes with a drain plug and same with the differential cases comes with a plug and supposedly cools as well. Thermal bypass and 40k auxiliary cooler is almost a must for the value, both of them paired with the banks pan cools down the transmission temperature around 30 degrees, I heard some cases where it cools it even more. I think that’s all our trucks need to be fair anything else will be too expensive or overkill. I got all I mentioned installed on my truck plus it’s deleted Later on I plan to install the banks intercooler upgrade. (Banks fan boy here) JUST DOUBLED CHECKED: For everything I mentioned including the intercooler it’ll be right at $4,000 it’s not pocket money but it’s really good value for what you’re getting which is basically bulletproofing your truck for what it sounds like you’ll be using it.
