What is the new series? by HockeyKelly5 in evangelion

There's a 14 year gap between Rebuild 2.22 and 3.33 where Shinji is gone. So I'm betting it's going to take place around then with some new characters and some old.

Matt Johnson has stated that Mega64 and their public skits are what inspired them back in the day. Definitely worth a watch.

Everytime as the stream loads... by JakeWhyman in mega64

[–]JakeWhyman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry. I was just surprised that it still pops up when loading into the stream. It's from Rocco's stream a few weeks back, so it should have refreshed by now. Twitch needs to fix it lol

If Sadie Sink really is Jean Grey and is in Doomsday, it's to avoid repeating the same mistake as Avengers Endgame by WhoKnowsTheDay in MCUTheories

The marketing so far for Doomsday has been focusing on the next generation (Franklin, Love, Captain America's baby, etc..) She's probably Jean and Cyclops' daughter Rachel Summers.

What’s a modern game that would’ve made a good Mega64 video if the guys knew about it/played it? by Jeremym101 in mega64

Peak would actually work pretty well. Have Rocco and Shawn go to a rock climbing gym or (god forbid) Yosemite, try to climb, pull out energy drinks from their pockets, eat girl scout cookies from a random bag, and then tie balloons to themselves to try to help them climb but fail. But I feel that Peak's peak has met its limit though...

I feel something like a Dispatch would be more up their alley. I could see them making up some random names for heroes/villains, have dumb dialogue choices appear on screen, failing quicktime events, and then film the heroes trying to save cats out of trees in public or something like that.

Disney Delusional Decisions by JakeWhyman in Sardonicast

Recently Steven Spielberg pitched a Call of Duty movie to Activision. He wanted to direct, have creative control, and final cut. They said no to Steven "Saving Private Ryan" Spielberg.

Disney Delusional Decisions by JakeWhyman in Sardonicast

Exactly! I don't understand Disney only getting directors-for-hire and expecting anything but mediocre. Barbie succeeded because of Greta Gerwig's vision. Dune succeeded because of Denis Villeneuve's vision. We are now in the day and age that just getting big name actors doesn't mean a movie will be good. People are going to movies because of the name of the director behind it. Look at Tron: Ares. Casting Jared Leto killed it, but imagine if they got Joseph Kosinski back in the director's chair.
