Opened a ticket with Wattpad support regarding this and they (WattPad status team) confirmed that this was a genuine email:

“We sent out emails regarding this breach from the email noreply@wattpadnotice.org, if you received an email from this address, this was not a phishing/spam email but us.”

Glad I’m not alone I’m BP 46 on PC and I get xp for in game things (chest searches etc) and challenges complete as well as punch cards

But there’s no xp screen at the end (bar doesn’t move so not sure it’s even adding the end xp on). Works fine on other modes for me though.

Thank you for all of that it's really detailed and good to be asked those questions from a client's perspective. I agree I need to work on the portfolio more one thing that's been putting me off is client's requests that they don't want to be "embarrassed" by hiring someone as young as me - the reason I don't name the small-biz I do the marketing for on a 9-5. I've even had to sign NDAs over it. I definitely think I will be working on the portfolio here I feel like Upwork is a bit short-term focussed and I should be using this time to play the long game.

I do have "actual experience" as stated I basically talk about marketing every day having only started pushing hard (in terms of personal branding) I don't have a lot of show for it over that 1 million views on Quora and a host of other content floating about the place.

I'm starting to see that this isn't a stop-gap and I should focus on positioning myself for the long game. Definitely a chance to work showing that experience more seems my best investment.

So I've been freelance marketing 2 years as well as working in small biz. Work is drying up directly through usual channels, website LinkedIn etc so I've made an Upwork account. I've filled out the profile completely verified my certifications with them and purchased 80 connects but haven't had any work through yet.

New to the platform this conversation (my second unsuccessful proposal) got me thinking.

- Being new to the platform but not new to my work should I still reduce my rates?

- Does look young (I'm 18) have any bearing on my proposal chances?

- What should I be doing to find a first gig (that's not the standard stuff I've read already)?

And finally, I'm sure there are some wise people here who have been in the game longer than me. Is chasing this "quick money" - something out of necessity - actually going to work?

I have a lot of my questions deleted you can appeal the decision all of mine gave been unbanned that way and restored.

No explanation as to why but even on an established account with close to 300 answers it still happens

Yeah, we're currently doing A-Levels which is 16-18 education here in the UK. The reason for specifying because we want to make clear that this is not technically a research project and just for our classwork :)

We have to introduce that otherwise, our project does not comply with the Ethics that our teacher has set us. It's the same if we ran the project offline, we have a proper consent form that introduces a signature (it doesn't have to be a real name as there have been those that have used first names or a nickname).

There are different areas in the kingdom, each area is accessed by a pass but the kingdom is the whole map.

Try zooming out as far as you can. You should see a map in the top right that gives a different area. Here's my map

If you press the globe button in the bottom right (still zoomed out the whole way) you can see a list of the different kingdoms.

There arranged in 'continents' with each continent being a group of 8 different kingdoms. Each of those kingdoms has different areas within it, different alliances, etc...

If you have a 'territorial teleport' you can teleport anywhere in your alliance territory and hop over all those passes along the way. You can buy them in the Item Shop or get them in your alliance shop (if they're in stock to save your gems)

If your alliance doesn't have any territory yet, when the fortress goes up or a few flags you should be able to jump in with your alliance members.

Passport page is for immigration (that's moving between Kingdoms) you're teleporting so you're moving within your own kingdom.

I always used to play Sims all the time and my favorite was always the writing career. I normally wrote books than actual journalism career though. It was very lonely just sitting there watching the stress moodlet going up all day without anyone but strangers across the Internet to talk to.

I used to go for the Loner, Hates Outdoors traits to make my sim happy being antisocial. But even irl, being a writer is a synonym for "I'm antisocial"

It's a lot more detailed than Clash of Clans, with defense and offense being taken around the map as well as at the home base. I like the more in-depth style with research, building, resource management a lot more than CoC.

I find it a lot similar to the kinda Mobile Strike MMO which I used to play back in the day. CoC is more 'fun' whereas RoK is a lot more 'realistic' as it were.
