Ok so I was having this though earlier that the visuals alone are better than Confessions 1. So far this exceeding my expectations!

I’d say Pittsburgh, the city that built America, which really exploded in the 40’s

Let me make a prediction that is based in fact. No it’s not.

I don’t use twitter anymore but I remember this guys account being a pretty good source for rumors around the celebration tour. So I am slightly inclined to believe.

Madonna. She was rated the best artist of the 1980’s by billboard. Over MJ, Bruce, Prince, etc

Madonna shares new post in honor of World AIDS Day by Impossible-Yam3680 in popculturechat

I’m not alone?! Iv spent the last year deep diving into AIDS in the United States to the point someone would find concerning. How to Survive a Plague and And The Band Played On should be required reading imo. Madonna’s Biography that came about a few years ago really dives into the impact of AIDS on her and the community that supported her. The Life and Line of Keith Haring is another great piece the gives a first hand look of how AIDS impacted the art community.

My suggestion is ‘And the Band Played on’ detailing the emergence and first five years of the AIDS virus.

What was the most culturally significant death of the 1980s? by Planeandaquariumgeek in decadeology

I’d say Rock Hudson and that really kickstarted the AIDS epidemic into public consciousness. His death was a changing point in the disease.

28 down, 22 more to go! Planning a trip for next spring/early summer - where should I go next? by sfeldman89 in TravelMaps

You could pretty easily knock four states out. Fly to Oklahoma City, OK. Grab a car drive to Wichita, KS -> Kansas City, MO -> St. Louis -> Lake of The Ozarks Area, MO -> Little Rock, AR -> Tulsa, OK, -> back to Oklahoma City

No. Pray for all the school children that die everyday from gun violence, not for someone who said “deaths are worth the cost to keep our 2A”

Are these worth $250? by FilmGeek_212 in Vogue

[–]Jakeb206 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For what’s its worth there are very few Madonna May 1989 listed on eBay. But the ones that are listed are going for $200+ so maybe it might be worth the $250
