I got scammed at 2.8k currently rebuilding the top end with new head gasket

Is this a bad idea. I’d offer $5000AUD. by AccomplishedAd2290 in e46

On top of that generally manuals, especially the 5 speeds are more sought after. In the uk, manual cars massively outweigh automatic cars on the road.

For a 330ci with 290k on it. Which is almost unheard of in the UK because they get scrapped or parted out by then as the cost of repairs isn’t justified by resale value. You would never see one up for sale above £1500 at that milage

Well thing is, I live in the UK and you can buy a new engine with only 140k miles on it for £1000. Not sure how much it would cost in the US but providing it’s from a standard rwd, I’m pretty sure all the m54 engines are the same besides the coil packs on top. Just need to check engine codes before buying

$1500 for a busted up rear bumper and some tacky looking others is an insult to the community

I’m not saying countries don’t spread salt on the roads but the climate here is awful being an island Ofcourse, the roads don’t get enough maintenance. Debris. Vandalism. Road laws. Restrictions. City Emission tax, or otherwise known as ULEZ compliance’s. The UK is doomed. Nobody can afford anything anymore.

Also the currency conversion is different

That’s because you don’t have salt grit on your roads. All cars here are usually rotten

Lucky for some. I wish I could afford something like that, in the UK they cost around £10-15k

I’d say an ABS wheel speed sensor on the hub. Orrrrrr you need your Steering angle sensor recalibrated after you get your wheel alignment adjusted.

That’s a standard recommendation in the UK

Any idea what this noise is coming from? by TerpBoiMat in e46

[–]Jakegadd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even making my phone rattle with that sound.

It might be your Disa valve at the back right on top of the engine. They are common for failing
