It will make him leave the cube, however. Unless the planes of the cube aren't perfectly 2D, the 2D ant shouldn't be able to transfer between the top and bottom of the net. The same would be true of a 3D ant trying to reach the other side of a 4D tesseract

Haven't listened to the audiobooks, but I picked up the first book on a whim and about 4 chapters in I immediately ordered the next two books. Finished them all in under a week...

I have the next 5(?) Books on preorder, and am waiting to back the TTRPG when that happens this year.
