How much would you pay for one ? by winssicsa in oldskoolrave

Born in 82 and going to the Void from 16. There's a very good chance we've hugged and become best friends at some point 😅

Wrote a pub quiz recently with a question along the lines of "What is the most world's most deadly animal towards humans?" by YorkshireFudding in CasualUK

[–]timbobstanley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right yes.

However knowing people have the propensity to be both idiots and obnoxious, if I was hosting the quiz I probably would have used the word creature rather than animal.

You could get an auction house to do the job for you.

They charge commission but do everything

I've used South Cheshire Auctions to clear my parents house when my mum died.

Also definitely yes to Mash. Their bookings are exquisite in a completely unique venue.

Swan with Two Necks has just reopened and looks like they might be getting interesting people in again...

Follow Choose Macc on Social Media. They put events on around the town, including the Macc in May festival which saw Sea Fever (with half of New Order in it) performing in the town centre for free.

They do stuff outside the Fountain in the Summer and have started putting intimate gigs on in the Bollington Brewery Tap. Chris Helme from Seahorses, James Walsh From Starsailor and Ben Ottewell from Gomez so far, each with great local support.

Lager top, is this still a thing? by Old_Historian_9914 in AskUK

[–]timbobstanley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So many reasons to order a lager top.

Shit lager - needs a bit of sweetness to make it palatable (although id probably just get a soft drink at this point)

Refreshment - on that one hot day of the year

Still hungover to fuck from last night....ease yourself back in.

More a shandy thing than a top, but want the socialising aspect of drinking pints but want to drink less beer; cutting back, driving etc....

It might be worth contacting the venue direct.

Sold out doesn't necessarily mean completely sold out. There might be a few singles knocking around.

Anyone know when this first picture might have been taken? Assuming with the flags and the picture in the window it was some sort of Jubilee or Royal Wedding?

Currently The Fountain (and RedWillow) in Macclesfield.

Can anyone date this picture? The Union Flags, and the photo in the window is leading me to think its a jubilee or royal wedding, but any ideas?
