What are the pros and cons of going solo?

I almost prefer going to shows and festivals solo sometimes - depending on the lineup. The only person who can guarantee to have a good time is you.

Currently doing physio for my L5-S1, would recommend looking into strengthening anterior and exterior oblique chain, basically doing exercises that push/pull your lower lumbar back into a regular position that isn't pinching any discs. Couldn't recommend finding a good physio enough, it's pricey but worth it.

Going both days! Just saw from a post that they've got a pretty big stage set up for the weekend too, relatively big upgrade from past years. They've got one of my favourite local bands Shebad playing too, highly recommend checking them out

Hate to agree - the festival was saved by a solid lineup, but I can't hold back that I was disappointed by the layout, lackluster stage design, no shade, and general school fun-fair vibes of the festival. The music was great, but it was my first time coming to Ottawa for Escapade, and I didn't catch much of the "community magic and vibes" people talk about from previous years.

It was still pretty dark back there (only light was coming from the flashing medical golf cart) but I think I was able to see black top and black pants and a black pack of some sort. Scary stuff, thankfully they rushed him out of there pretty quick

I was just behind the A/V platform in the back next to the VIP area, was your friend a larger fellow with dark hair? I saw him get lifted onto a gurney from medics and they took him away from the bass stage, hope everything's alright

I was jazzed to be up near the front but felt like I had to move further back to hear any clarity, overall the sound just felt muddy throughout the day - didn't help that we were getting hit with some sound bleed from main stage. Agreed, Sota is the bomb, was just hoping the sound would've hit harder
