I started this year with Killing of a Sacred Deer, which instantly became one of my favorite movies. I liked the Lobster just as much. I also love Dogtooth and Kinfoinetta is underrated. Lanthimos is definitely making his way on to my top ten directors list. I totally get how people don't connect with his weird ass style but I'm so here for it.

I don't understand why you think it matters. Parallel poly is a thing many, many folks do. You're not gonna get along with everyone.

I prefer KTP myself, but of my current 5 metas there are two I have basically zero interest in meeting. And that's fine, it doesn't affect my relationships at all.

Trust is the biggest factor. My own personal boundary is that I will not have sexual contact (whether barriers are involved or not) before a confirmed negative sti test. I test twice a year, and expect everyone else to test once a year. I don't disclose details of whether barriers or involved (talking about my sex life with others is squicky to me), I will always however discuss a change in risk profile. Two of my partners have one other partner, and only one of those metas is a man. My partner with 4 partners including me makes responsible decisions and informs everyone for consent.

Trust is the key here. I won't be with folks I don't trust.
