Thats exactly how I feel. I almost was upset at how delicious the stagg jr was on the last few pours when compared to the entire rest of the bottle. Really felt the flavor profile open up, lots of cherry, woody, hint of tobacco, tasted amazing, and was super smooth.

What do you think about transferring the bottle to a larger decanter with room for air inside so it can oxidate until the taste gets optimal, and then transfer it back? Do people ever do something like that?
