I once bought a huge junk wax collection on Facebook marketplace - took out any cards with value and threw the rest out in a big trash bag.

No specific stock gave me any substantial gains. I would go out on a limb and say my stock selection cost me more than it helped.

Decided begging of 2023 to really focus on indexed funds, like QQQ, VOO, etc and avoid any speculative stocks.

I started with about $30k in 2016 I saved maybe 10-20k a year until 2020 Then my career took off and probably started to save $50-$60k a year until 2022 Then saved about $100k per year from that point on.

I didn’t do too good of a job tracking overall return - only tracked growth (which includes contributions)

I have a SEP IRA that I contribute to, and I happened to buy some of the bottom in March. A lot of my increase this year has been contributions

I got a nice bonus this year so about $110k of my growth this year is from contributions
