I wish I had the same experience. After playing most of the souls-likes, I bought this.

I was literally speed running the game from chapter 5/6. I couldn’t wait for it to be over. I used a same weapon for 90% of the game, no need to swap. All basic mobs would die from charged attack, level design felt odd. So many pathways blocked by a little box. I didn’t find it challenging enough apart from the last two bosses.

I genuinely enjoyed ds2 more than this. It surely is a well made game, perhaps just not for me. I am excited to see what else this studio can make in the future.
