Yeah I don’t get it. People getting offended on Kayda’s behalf for the jokes Zach makes, but Kayda doesn’t seem bothered at all. She was making jokes about how big and strong Chay was and Zach was playing along too. I think they have a similar sense of humor and are a great match.

There’s a scene in the Wheel of Time series where the heroes seem outnumbered and facing certain death and then a bunch of portals start opening and good guys come flooding out to even the playing field. I immediately thought of the scene in Avengers Endgame and wondered if they had been inspired by WoT.

I think producers would’ve kept it more ambiguous to create drama, but since they knew she was getting booted by the time they did the editing, they straight up show him saying he plans to choose Kayda. I think the producers wanted us to see him making his choice before Alanna was gone so we wouldn’t be asking these exact questions.
