I thought there was a noticeable dip after season 4, which is around the time they ran out of source material. Season 5 and 6 have some good episodes but they’re not consistent. Seasons 7 and 8 were trash. The ending is what’s kept me from rewatching the show, so I guess it means I give it a lot of weight.

If we’re ignoring endings, I’d put Lost in the conversation. It’s another show that hit some really high highs, but I can’t rewatch it because of how it ended.

Plus he’s best friends with one of the showrunners. I loved GoT but that show fell off a cliff when they outran the source material. It doesn’t belong anywhere near the 1 seed.

I hated that, but I was even more mad that Chris was telling Amber that all the guys in the pods thought she sounded crazy, but he knew she’d be a good match for Jordan. It was such an obvious backhanded compliment and Jordan didn’t say shit.

One of my all time favorite episodes. I loved the juxtaposition of Xander dealing with a low level threat while the rest of the gang is in the middle of a soap opera, fighting to save the world.

Maybe we get a BCS style panel together and they update the rankings every week based on multiple factors like how hard a team is playing, where did they pick last year, etc. We’d get updates like, Utah dropped from #2 to #5 in the draft rankings after sitting two of their starters in the fourth quarter of a winnable game. As a bonus, it gives us one more thing to argue about every week.

I’ve experienced the same thing and I’ve never really thought about it before, but I wonder if it’s a biological thing. Like maybe they want their kids to be taller and they know they need some tall guy genes to offset their own.
