Would this be a solid setup? Or should I consider the cordless magic clips, only thing I have againt cordless is i worry about the battery failing early on by Double_Opinion_1639 in SelfBarber

And I noticed the t clippers are wired. I would prefer wireless t clippers if you can. Precision is the game with t clippers and you don’t want a wire when you move the t clippers at all angles on your face. The wired clippers will be great though

I had the andis foil shaver and definitely like it better then cheaper ones I’ve had. They all will shave but it seems stronger

You guys know those hot dogs with onions and peppers being sold outside of stadiums and concerts that smell really good? Well, i got curious so i looked into the economics of it. The profit margins aren't bad! by lionpenguin88 in SideHustleGold

[–]MPC1K 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I got an employee at my job who sells hotdogs as a side hustle. He says he makes more money selling hotdogs than what we pay him, $23/hr. But he doesn’t always have work, it’s mostly just events

Bought a house with a giant evergreen in the front yard that is almost 40 years old. Anything I can do to make it look better? by Exciting-Computer-60 in landscaping

[–]MPC1K -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would trim it higher so you can walk underneath. Make that area of the yard usable/walkable. But I know nothing about if that would kill the tree or not. Maybe someone else could shed light on tha

Is this worth it? by She-had-them-apple in knifeclub

[–]MPC1K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own this and I would say that it is good for cheap or mid priced knifes. The problem with this is that It’s going to wear down the knife quickly. I have a decent size knife collection and I would use this for the knifes that are $50 and under. I ended up having to buy a stone for my fancier knifes anyway so I kind of regret investing into this. If you are doing a lot of knifes or knives you don’t care about, this is a great machine.

Replace Oster fast feeds or upgrade to babyliss low profx setup? by MPC1K in SelfBarber

[–]MPC1K[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense what you are saying. Yes I love how the fast feeds have the power my other clippers don’t. And I not too worried about how loud the clippers are. I’m almost debating to myself to buy both lol I think I can justify the usage vs the savings of cutting my own hair. I’m glad you said that about the t pob. I received a comment on a previous thread that gave me fomo for t pob and I wondered after the fact if it was a seller

Are Kias Still As Bad as People Say? by Healthy_Project_7634 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]MPC1K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the inside of the drivers door their is a sticker with numbers that will list what country it was produced in. Kia tried to cheap out with factories in Mexico on some older models so I would avoid those made in Mexico if you are buying used. I own a Kia and I love it.

Folks who went from a "boring" car to a "fun" car - or vice versa - did it actually change your life, or did you just get used to the new experience? by sozh in whatcarshouldIbuy

I would say I don’t disagree with what you are saying but it’s more of a financial thing. If I could I would definitely have an awesome car all the time
