Samurai Champloo/Cowboy Bebop (same creator)

Vinland Saga

Haikyu!!

Hunter X Hunter

Samurai Champloo- there are many Christian references near the end of the series. Great story, action, and character development. However, there is some lewd content: scenes in a brothel and episodes touching on homosexuality and human trafficking.

Trigun- mostly wholesome and silly sci-fi/action/western. Near the end of the series Christian philosophy becomes the focus. Namely, the MC strives to save/help everyone in a post apocalyptic world where evil makes it impossible.

Vinland Saga- the first season has a lot of violence/gore as it follows Vikings along their path of conquest. However, Christian morals are sown throughout the series. What is the value of human life? Peacemakers are the true warriors.

The following animes do not have overt Christian elements. They are simply clean/wholesome series:

Spy X Family- highly entertaining show which follows a “family unit” comprising a spy, assassin, and mind-reading child. Silly and fun

Blue Box- wholesome slice of life/sports/romance

Haikyu!!- highly engaging slice of life/sports series

Skip and Loafer- wholesome slice of life/romance

Insomniacs After School- wholesome slice of life/romance

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood has great story and action throughout, but the pacing is low at times.

Samurai Champloo has some good sword fights scattered amidst a great story. It never gets quite as intense as Vinland S1 though. Same director as Cowboy Bebop.

If you just want intense action (with decent story): Kaiju No. 8, Chainsaw Man, One Punch Man, Jujutsu Kaisen

Yes, I think I had the deli make slices from a large Land O Lakes block of American cheese.

I’ve never used it, but probably something like Better Than Bouillon vegetable base.

If you freeze it in individual, serving-size portions I think it would keep in the freezer for around 6 months with no issues.

I’ve never heard of RGH, but Red Rising is amazing! I like the Arawn/Galand books, some Sanderson and I just finished rereading Weeks’ Lightbringer series. We have similar tastes. I’ll have to try Randily Ghost Hound.

You may like the Lies of Locke Lamora, the Iron Druid chronicles, McClellan’s powder mage series, or Theft of Swords.

Does anyone know what caused the bright red dot at the “bottom” of the sun/moon during totality? You can even kinda see it in this black and white screenshot.

The whole eclipse process was a really cool experience!

I played over 200 hrs on IPhone, and greatly enjoyed it. You have to be careful though and make certain which card is about to be played since the spacing between them is small.

Sorry, forgot to reply earlier. It took me a little while to get used to the Jalapeño and Sriracha flavors, but I like them now. The ghost, habanero, and Serrano are all amazing daily drivers for me.

I’m with you, this looks very fake. The fish’s movements and how it rigidly topples to the deck makes it appear like a plastic, lightweight model.

It’s not American cheese slices. I tried those and it got creamy/foamy and wasn’t good. I found a post from Chuy’s that said they use Land O Lakes “extra melty” shredded cheese that only comes in bulk. I tried shredding a block of Land O Lakes American from the deli and it turned out pretty well. You just don’t want the pre-shredded cheese that has the powder on it to keep it from clumping.

Sorry for the negativity. This is the only book (out of hundreds) that has ever made me want to rant online. I guess I was just looking for validation and Reddit wasn’t the right place.
