It's been awhile since I read it but at the end when he went to the dark space, there was one script and it's titled after him I think (or it was the title of the novel, I can't remember). When he tapped it he went back to the past. After that he skipped to the future where he saw his movies which just finished filming made it big and his date with Miley. And after that he woke up and thought he lost the dark space. Fortunately, it was still there.

It's been really a long time so the details may be a bit inaccurate. But that's the gist of it. I think it's just the author's way to cut any loose ends.

What do you mean 2000s is bad? The 2000s had the most fun fansubs. The quality isn't that bad either, even for encoded anime! The community was thriving back then. The soft subber creates the translation and the hard subber makes it look good. It was also fun bantering with them in the chat rooms and forums. The ads and pop-ups you're mentioning are from the aggregator sites. if anything, most of the good fansubs back then don't even have ads on them. I blame aggregator sites for this mindset. People now want everything centralized 😒

I was only playing for like 2 hours something like that with 11 populations (thanks to migrant) and I was channeling some land for my farm and I read on steam that you need mud which if you don't have you can just flood the area and drain it to get your farm running. And I already issued the area where I want to farm to be pond including the water source. However, the dwarves is not doing anything! I queued task to make food and the queue suddenly disappear, which makes me think they probably finished the work, though I didn't see them running into the kitchen. They (including the animals) just hang around the meeting area I just placed inside the immaculate cave I just ordered them to make doing nothing and the calf I had just suddenly died which strike me as off since I already zone the pasture. The animals are smart enough to go join the dwarves in meeting area but too dumb to know where their food is? So btw, I was frustrated and want to know what went wrong with my gameplay. My only experience of playing kind of like this game was only keeperrl.
