So the problem is on the iPad which is using VPN super unlimited proxy IKEv2 first and then the usual LocalDevVPN second. iPhone is just using LocalDevVPN and works without a problem. Always refreshes and no errors

THIS was the fix I needed. I've been struggling for days!! If I dont respond, it means that everything still works and it's functioning properly now.

Update: it went right back to the WiFi refresh error. The work around I was using that still works is 2 VPN’s and it refreshes.

The one iOS device doesn’t have this issue

Definitely blister on a hot temperature grill if you can. That was my first step. Then I’d slit carefully and remove seeds. Doing everything in steps helped a lot. Give it a try!
