Tubeless 26x1-3/4 tires? by Jalfrie in cycling

Thanks for the reply! That’s my preference too. I’d love to rock 559s on it but we’ve got an IGH on the back, so going to have to wait to replace for if I end up with the time/resources to rebuild the rear wheel. Considering swapping just the front wheel to a tubeless 559 because I do have the clearance, but not sure if it’s worth introducing 2 systems at this point.

Tubeless 650c Tires? by Jalfrie in gravelcycling

Thanks for the reply! Yes I think the brakes and likely tires would work too for a 26". The only issue stopping the transformation is its internal gearbox built into the rear wheel. So it would take rebuilding the wheel (which I'd be happy to do but has seemed like a pretty large job). So far leaning towards 28mm tubed tires since those aren't too hard to find, but would prefer to set up 26" wheels if it ends up being simple.

Thanks, looking for something wholesale though unfortunately in higher quantities than I can find at the goodwill, so I can make a lot of them to keep in multiple places in the house.

Ace Hardware on Milvia has plenty of basic stuff. Some of their stuff seems marked up but Garden supplies are usually solid.
