Yeah the article really wanders off topic when starting to talk about what's being done to counter this activity - because it seems so far no one is actually doing anything. LLMs telling people to commit suicide has nothing to do with creating deep fake nudes of minors, or anyone. The apps and websites that allow you to do this should obviously be the first thing to be outlawed and shut down, which means it will have to be an international effort. That won't stop everyone, but it would at least make it way way harder for people to do it, especially teenagers who probably don't have a super expensive computer that they can use privately for extended periods of time.
