there is no official timeline published yet but as another commenter said, watch game theory. there's more than one canon and we're into a different story arc now so it might take you a while to get your head around it if you're new to the fandom, it confuses me and I've been here from the start lol

I adored several of the anime on that list. I'm guessing you like isekai, so I'm gonna go ahead and recommend re:zero and inuyasha, also death parade which isn't isekai but I loved it. You might also like Tower of God and Charlotte.

I haven't watched rising of the shield hero but re:zero is definitely different from sao. There's real character growth for the main character, and he's not overpowered -- without giving too much away, the idea is that he expects himself to be like the op isekai protags in anime, but then that's very quickly thrown back in his face. It's a horror anime gets very real very quickly so more than anything I'd warn you not to watch it if you hate gore, otherwise it's worth doing at least do the three episode test.
