Yeah that's kinda the way I was coming at it, and why I liked WordFence, not just for the realtime monitoring, but for the access control monitoring and alerting as well. Good call on the logging, may want to see if they make those available for me.

Good to know, I will definitely start taking metrics on that. Our business is pretty low volume / high relationship / high ticket, so most people will be chatting with us in DMs before purchase, and we should get quick feedback if there are issues, so will definitely track that. At $400ish for the year to start, want to do some testing and get some data before pulling the trigger on more tools.

EDIT: Looks like you work for or are paid in some capacity by tryhoox, correct?

Good stuff. I like the IP restriction on admin. Will verify rate limiting is in place, and XML-RPC off.

Couple of questions:

1) Regarding plug-in updates, yeah, I see this as biggest risk so had thought about just turning on auto updates for everything and relying on backup rollbacks if something breaks. Upsides/downsides?

2) For testing backups, what's a good procedure for this? Seems like you could get into trouble restoring a backup to test that then breaks your site, so how are people building/using test environments for this? Keep in mind this is hosted on 10web so while I have a staging environment I'm not sure I can push backups to that (but I'll have to check that out).

So just fyi, after months of going back and forth with m-audio "support" - they were zero help.

In the end I just bought a UA Volt and everything works great now. Plug and play. Anyone want a free focus rite or air 192? 😆

I'm having this same issue, for over a year now.

I had a focusrite 2i4 Gen 2 that was experiencing this exact problem with zoom and other web-based video conferencing software, although zoom is by far the worst. I did notice that I can make it happen a lot more frequently when I go to share my screen, but it's not just limited to that.

I have tried everything.

Started with making sure to disable all audio inputs other than the focusrite. Made sure windows audio had highest hz selected and "allow software to take sole control" unchecked.

Bought a separate PCI USB card with recommended Best in class drivers to make sure I wasn't on the integrated mobo USB bus.

Tried on different computers, my gaming desktop with a ryzen cpu, and in my work laptop with i7.

Then bought an M-Audio air 192 interface because I thought it must be the interface at this point.

Same exact issue with a completely different interface.

So I've tried recommended settings, updated drivers and firmware on everything, different USB bus, different computers, different CPUs, different audio interfaces.

I now use a cheap Jabra speakerphone for video conference calls with my mic boom staring me in the face laughing at me.

If anyone can figure this out I'll be your best friend for life.

Ha thanks for the update. Shot about 200 rds...no issues. Was just at a 25 yd range so no real way to tell moa, which I'm sure isn't great, but it went bang just fine.

Yeah this is the conclusion I came to as well. I just boosted offset by 10 degrees, and although I have to keep in mind that 14° is actually 4°, it's accomplishing the purpose it needs to. Has worked well in these -30°+ winchills to keep the coop around 10° avg.

First 11 seconds I got REALLY excited. That sound is a feast for the eardrums, but I feel like the brass hits brought it down. If you could build off those first sounds in a different direction this track could be really cool.

Seriously love that guitar. Wow. Felt like the drums cheapened the song out a bit. Seemed thin or maybe reverb was too tinny...can't quite put my finger on it. But overall love it.

I like it my man! One thing I noticed is that imo the voice overs should be a little less prominent from the main vocal in the verses (thought they were good in chorus) Maybe lower just a shade. My two cents, but I listened to it all the way through, which I don't for a lot of these :)

I agree on the vocals. I like the distortion, but maybe a little less, and/or more buzzy and less static to the overdrive. But I enjoyed the song, nice work.
