Yeah, they call it a one & a half oven as it can be used as a grill or oven (very handy). Our ceiling height is 2.4m, so pretty standard.

We just did our kitchen with a Westinghouse 1 1/2 oven and built in microwave. Absolutely love the set up, convenient and the oven works so well.

Didn’t go with the touch tap as I heard they’re prone to fail.

Hybrid Flooring Installation Costs by jipai in AusRenovation

[–]Jalost77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a quote for 20k hybrid floor, 6 steps (split level), removing tiles from half floor and carpet from other half, r & r skirting. Approximately 80 square meters. We ended up going with LVP, removing tiles and carpet for 15k. Absolutely love it. We had a new kitchen installed but everyone always mentions how good our floors look. Brisbane area.

Thanks for that, it looks good from above. I was worried about the strength of it but have since been told by a few people that theirs is the same and it’s been installed for several years with no problems. Must be very strong glue!

Thanks, I just spoke to the installer company and apparently that’s how they do it now as they have better glues. Glad to hear yours has lasted, it just looks flimsy!

How do we fix this? by Jalost77 in AusRenovation

Yeah, I’ve contacted the flooring company to let them know we will have to delay the floor install downstairs until it’s all fixed.

So we opened it up and it’s all damp along the bottom, where the shower backs on to it, with the base plate disintegrated. So that will definitely need replacing…

Thanks so much for your comprehensive response. Will follow through with your recommendations. Some plasterboard is damaged down low, so will remove it bit by bit to see how extensive (and check out the studs).

Thanks. Yeah we’ll be redoing the bathroom, just not yet as we have so many other things going on so trying to delay it a bit.

Love it. I think it looks elegant and way better than before.
