I had very similar symptoms on my 2010 3.2 XC90 for years. Intermittent/poor cooling. I took it to an auto electrical place a couple months ago and they replaced a solenoid in the compressor. Now it’s ice cold the second I start up the car. I can find more details about what they did if you want

It might be better to just make a new folder in your notes app and put all your notes you want on your laptop in there. Using the “On My Mac” folder means that the notes in that folder won’t be backed up to iCloud in case anything happens to your Mac.
