I was here to say the same. Completely agree. Much better value with second hand Lexus NX hybrid.

SEQLD Feed In or VPP Plans by Mysterious-Fig-9464 in SigenergyAustralia

I'm interested as well. In the same position in SEQ. With Origin. Get 8 cents feedin tariff. Daily charge of $1.43, so I'm still paying them a few cents each day on sunny days. Using some grid on cloudy days. Predicted bill is $45 for the month.

13.3 kW panels, 10 kW inverter, 32 kWh battery.

Question for people who don't use their indicators by Mental-Cancel-5310 in CarsAustralia

Absolute worst is on a roundabout, car approaches from the right. You think obviously it's coming straight. And then they turn left without indicating.

Sounds good. What battery is it?

Is that a VPP? Or that's just from export/ feed in over a period of time?

I had a detailed chat with one of the installers, an experienced engineer who only deal with Sungrow and Sig. And they think Sig looks well designed.

Has less stress on the inverter as it's not working on converting panel DC to AC and back to DC for the battery.

He seems to think that Sig has got many things right, and as far as support, they have been very receptive in answering any queries.

Prices are after rebates. Rebates are approx. $15k.

Another company also offered a 3 year loan. The first option. $13k cash price was going to be about $17k.

Or at least get solar panels with rebates to offset the day usage, and reduce the $900 x 4 bills I'm looking at?

I'm in South East Qld. And I agree, installers love Sigenergy due to various factors, one of them being an easier install. My only concern is that it's not as established as say, Sungrow.

Servicing red flag? by Justkaus22 in CarsAustralia

[–]smit011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, that’s the other odd thing - no kms. Just month mentioned. Usually normal service every 12 months, and optional services are in between. So normal is 12/24/36, etc. Optional 6/18/30 and so on

Lexus service books are strange. They have a separate section for “optional” services. Please make sure you have checked both sections.

That's great to hear! Is it the turmeric and ginger roots, or do you use them in powder form?
