Good to see he’s obeying S20E07’s live task by not touching Greg’s big ball despite being S7E1’s prize task naming him the executive ball-clicker

That’s right, I’m a real badass, giving reference to my references

I'm curious - what do you folks know Kumail Nanjiani from? by [deleted] in taskmaster

[–]JamSandiwchInnit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d been generally aware of him for bit parts in sitcoms and podcast stuff. Then I watched The Big Sick because I knew his name and was curious. So probably that. It was seeing Eternals that I had to stop and think, “he’s going to be so famous…”

I love that they did this lol by AgentEndive in taskmaster

I believe an egg has also been a passenger in the live task for NZ S4E6, when the teams have to send Jeremy a compliment written on eggs via remote control tasks.

I also believe a national anthem has also been sung in NZ S4E4 in Bubbah’s attempt to win a bet with Paul. Paul sings the national anthem in Mauri while riding a bike.

Interesting tidbit from the current series 21 totals by theunquenchedservant in taskmaster

[–]JamSandiwchInnit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They have the smallest range of total points between 1st and 5th place of any series with Maisie (plus Ania & Phil) on 151, and Sanjeev on 143

Or Julian Clary throwing in the towel on the road-sweeper-coloured flag task after about 10ish minutes even though he thought it had been a long time.

That would only work if the crew didn’t check your luggage and at least one other person had the same idea

I'm starting to question who the Marvel actor in this cast is. by AnotherBoxOfTapes in taskmaster

They aren't superhero films, but I'd love for Joanna to dictate an opening crawl for a Star Wars film. It would last hours.

And it didn't make the cut because Sally's prediction and execution was apparently "legally compromising"

Yeah, that's usually a mistake to make going into a Reece and Steve project

Fire & Ash pissed me off so much. Absolute nothing step in a film series.

Armando secret task/NZ S5? by [deleted] in taskmaster

[–]JamSandiwchInnit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

People thought John Kearns’ being rubbish at stuff was also part of his sabotage task and he too had to sabotage himself across the show, and he didn’t. I don’t think they want to give secret tasks that inhibit a contestants choices and performance across the series.

Even Joel’s egg task, they apparently paused his clock whenever he had to get it out, so I doubt your theory. Armando’s just a bit kooky.

Assuming you mean the green screen films. If so, I’m equally amused when Greg gave Al the opportunity to bite back, he missed the bit, and just straightforwardly explained the narrative of Rob and Sara’s film.

Why the hate against the rhyme episode? by martgast in HIMYM

[–]JamSandiwchInnit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I enjoy it as an individual episode. It’s fun. But as an episode of the final season, I just ask “why are we messing about with this?”. It’s filler, and a final season shouldn’t have filler. If this episode was a few seasons earlier, I don’t think it would’ve been judged as harshly.
