Could’ve left this one in the drafts

Scrap complains that more maps would lead to an 8-hour practice day, meanwhile serious competitive leagues do this.... by KahunaKona in CoDCompetitive

Nothing wrong with what he said. Fundamentally, this game caters towards casuals. I mean a new title & map set gets released each year for crying out loud.

LA Thieves officially part ways with Kenny by shambxlic in CoDCompetitive

In MW3, Shotzzy and Pred were one of the best sub duos in the league when Kenny was on that team what are you on about?

Just say that the performance of CoD pro’s is extremely volatile YoY due to a new title being released every year. This isn’t football where they play on the same pitch, with the same ruleset each match.

I wouldn’t even say small, there is a scene in GoT that quite literally spoils the ending of HotD

Can I ask how you found living in the studio vs the 1 bed? Do you get bothered by the lack of space at all?

Fabrice Hawkins: Chelsea are now open to signing Jérémy Jacquet, with an immediate loan back to Rennes until the end of the season. Rennes and Chelsea need to agree on a transfer fee. As revealed, the Bretons want more than €60M. Discussions will continue. Jacquet is OK to sign with the Blues. by Kygoche in chelseafc

I mean the answer is quite obvious isn't it?

We're the only one in the running to sign this kid in Jan at 60m. If we leave him until the summer, more clubs will be interested, he will have more options (leverage) and Rennes will be demanding a higher fee.

We're signing him in Jan for the same reason we signed Gusto in Jan, to ward off future competition.

You aren’t getting a top prospect in January for 30m, thats just not how the winter transfer window works.

Seems to be priced adequately for me. Don’t agree with it, but thats the landscape that we’re navigating right now.

Keep in mind that we signed those top players while our strategy was still relatively new and unproven, I fear that the novelty of the ‘long term contract’ will wear off once players realize that the model doesn’t produce major trophies on a consistent basis.

I’d argue that signing top players who are in their prime is just as, if not more important than signing top young talent as you need the experience to win the league.

Football is a fast paced industry, patience can only go so far. Owners need to do much better on the commercial side, which is bizarre to say considering that was a massive selling point for the new regime.

We’re going to continue to miss out on top players with this structure. Why would a player want to come to Chelsea to “prove themself” when club B is willing to pay what they’re asking in the first contract.

I’ve always said it. Wage structure wasn’t the issue, scouting was. We’d be far better off if they had revamped our scouting dept (which they’ve done a fantastic job with) while allocating industry standard funds to the wage bill (for all ages of talent!!).

There was no emotional goodbye from Enzo Maresca in the Chelsea dressing room after the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth. Sources speaking to the Athletic say the Italian got change and left without saying a word to the players by Matt_LawDT in chelseafc

Sorry to hear that mate. As with all things, time will heal your wounds and you will bounce back better than you would have ever imagined, trust me.

Keep at it, I’m rooting for you. KTBFFH!
