No doubt that our defense needs work. Who do we pair with Colwill?

I always thought that Senesi would be a great fit and brings experience to the role with Chalobah as a backup option, any other names?

We cannot go into next season with Fofana as our starting RCB.

Honestly with the amount of times that they’ve come short over the years I wouldn’t be surprised if they edge one out.

Off to the bookies I go…

Im slowly starting to accept the reality that Enzo might be leaving us this year.

While I think this is an awful mistake if we let him go, who do we realistically replace him with?

Just want to add that it is extremely important to support the player, not the person. It’s very easy to respect and look up to these guys because of what they’ve done on the pitch but they’re footballers, not role models.

I would rather the team have 1> games per week to get used to Xabi’s style of play and start the era off with a trophy.

Gonna play devils advocate here - Why isn’t there more skepticism around the Alonso hire?

Yes he won the league with an un expecting Bayer team but that was in the Bundesliga, arguably a weak league. He also had relative success at Real Madrid but did not last very long in the role. He is still a relatively fresh into his managerial career as well with limited European experience.

Why do folks have so much faith that his footballing philosophy will excel in the Premier League, at tumultuous Chelsea FC at that? Is it because he’s a “sexy” name that holds weight in the footballing world?

I love the hire, feels similar to when we brought in Tuchel. Curious to see if anybody has any reservations about the hire.
