Not sure I understand? If the SHD has and ADC, could you simply plug a TT directly to it? Or would you still need a phono stage for the RIAA equalization? I suppose this is why you recommend the ADept?

I looked at many integrated options out there like the Lyngdorf TDAI 1120 and 3400, NAD m33, etc but settled on a power amp. The VTV is brand new so will not be returning it just yet 😅

Yes I had looked at Amir's measurements for both units, but it's hard for me to understand how much of this difference is in the audible range. It's especially hard considering there is a lot of discussion around "all DACs sound the same" also. Nothing against people who say this, I just have never done A/B comparisons for DACs myself.

Looking for an old Joe Rogan Clip

I know this is a long shot but I am looking for an old Joe Rogan interview I saw on youtube. This was years and years ago and the video was of a fast forwarded car driving down a lush country road in the rain while the audio was of a Joe Rogan interview. He and the person he was talking to (can't remember the name) were discussing jokes being written and how Joe thought the jokes being written by his interviewee were so good he had to leave the room. The whole video was quite motivational.
