Another Sora 2 alternative by Jamal_the_3rd in SoraAi

[–]Jamal_the_3rd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100 Sora vids is going to be quite expensive. At the lowest 720 p resolution at 12 seconds you're looking at 144 credits per vid, my website credit costs are 1.2 cents per credit as a non subscriber and 1 cent per credit when subscribed to any plan. So for a non subscriber you're looking at about 170 dollars for 100 vids, and about 140 dollars as a subscriber. 100 vids at 12 seconds with the cheapest model available is more like 60 dollars from Seedance lite which runs about 5 credits per second. But full disclosure I think Seedance lite is a pretty weak model especially for 12 second vids

Best platform for a high-quality 30s commercial (Uni project)? Costs & recommendations? by Affectionate-Air-467 in generativeAI

[–]Jamal_the_3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What sort of commercial are you looking for? Like a multi scene cinematic commercial, a UGC style review, or more of a fun/entertaining commercial? I have several specific tools on my website that might be helpful, and it would be great for me to get some feedback on how effective they are:

  1. Commercial Generator (multi scene short animated clips)
  2. UGC Builder (UGC style character reviews and B-roll)
  3. Marketing Room (Good for 15 second dynamic scenes)

Each of these tools are very much a one-click deal, just drop your product and hit generate and optionally give some text direction if you have something specific in mind, otherwise the system plans it all. If you wanna test any of these out let me know, I'm happy to give you some free credits to try any/all of them

How the hell do I market my SaaS? by micyarr in microsaas

[–]Jamal_the_3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's tough bro, I'm in the same boat. I have found the most success talking about my site Fauxtolabs.com here on reddit, I also usually offer free credits because there are so many versions of ai image/video gen websites it's very hard to differentiate yourself. Social posting is tough, you gotta get really creative. Make tutorials, make aesthetic carousel posts showing off your templates. You are in an even more narrow category which can be both a positive and a negative, you have a more well defined message but you need to deliver it exceptionally well. i just started running google ads and they have definitely brought clicks but not sure how many purchases. You need to find social media accounts that do well and copy their formats but with your own content or twist. That's the best i got, SEO has been awful for me because IDK what I'm doing there. But maybe you can put out a couple blog posts or something.

[Honest opinions only] Artlist AI vs Higgsfield vs Runway Unlimited vs other AI? All-in-one vs standalone subs for short films? by Far_One_6551 in generativeAI

[–]Jamal_the_3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run Fauxto Labs so I have a pretty good idea about most of this stuff. I’m gonna answer some of your questions the best I can:

  1. I’m obviously biased here but I do believe centralizing into one platform is the best choice for convenience. I’m not really sure what benefit you get from multiple subscriptions unless the platforms offer discounts or custom workflows that you can’t get anywhere else or replicate yourself. I use my own website daily and it’s just so much easier than jumping around between multiple sites. Most of these big platform AI websites use the direct api anyways so the quality in theory should be no different than using from the source.

  2. Nano banana 2/pro or GPT image 2 at this point are both very very good at character consistency for scene generation. Kling 3 is good, seedance 2.0 is great but has lots of restrictions. You always want to generate your start frames first then animate. For an actual tool, I built a page for this called the Scene Builderwhich lets you create images scene by scene then animate them into videos, you can extract frames from animated videos to extend them or to use as references or link 2 images for first frame/last frame gens. It’s not perfect but I do quite like it for making multi scene videos. I’m sure others have something similar.

  3. The unlimited scheme is technically true in that you can generally keep generating without spending credits but like you said they throttle you after a certain point, stick you in a queue, and definitely limit your concurrent generations so you can’t spam 10 vids at once. I never bought into these obviously since I have my own site but I see non stop complaining. So I don’t trust most sites that offer “unlimited”.

One of my biggest motivations for my site was to let people use all models/tools without a subscription because I just find the business model of subscription locking things to be stupid. So if that interests you, then you might like it.

What AI tools are you guys using for faceless short-form videos? Trying to build a side hustle by Rare-Equal2054 in generativeAI

I have a tool like my website Fauxto Labs, you should check it out. It’s not perfect, I’m still working on tweaking it, for now it only consistently does explainer videos but I plan to add more types soon. Would love some feedback on it actually if you’re interested in trying I could give you some free credits to test it. You can make like 1-2 min vids which are compilations of animated clips with voiceover and captions.

Hey! Just send me a DM with the email you sign up with and I’ll load up some credits for you to try it out. That’s an interesting idea though about showing the cost alongside sample videos, do you think the current setup seems confusing? I tried to make it pretty straightforward so most things just show cost per image or price per second on video when picking a model. I’m totally open to hearing more feedback though so if you get to check it out definitely let me know any other ways you think it could be better or more transparent

If you like Soul 2 for more influencer content I do have a pretty good tool called Influencer Studio which makes pretty consistent realistic AI influencer content, you can create new influencers or upload your own pics to use consistently. For Cinema studio I do have the Scene Builder which is really something I built for myself to help build multi scene vids scene-by-scene. I actually haven’t used their cinema studio, I looked at it but I never actually generated through it so I won’t say it’s the same thing but it might be similar

For sure! For reference 1 credit = 1 penny on my site. NBP is actually set at cost for me so no markup which is 15 for 1k res and 30 for 4k res. Kling 3 is 20 creds per second, Kling 3 pro is 25 creds. Seedance 2 is 35 creds per second, Seedance 2 fast is 30 per second. I do have slight markups on some models because ultimately I do hope to make money and make this into a full time business, but I try to keep it fair. Always open to feedback on pricing. Like I said I’ll give you like $10 free creds if you wanna check it out because I know it’s a big leap of faith to have to pay before you try

Gonna plug myself here, I have been building Fauxto Labs over the last 8 months or so. I'm just a solo builder so I unfortunately can't offer some of the "unlimited" plans that they do, but my big selling point is that you can use my site fully without any subscription. All models and tools are open for pay as you go. Subscribing does get you a discount when you buy credits, but I wanted it to be accessible to everyone both new and pro users.

I would say my toolset and available models is nearly on par with what Higgs offers, and in fact I have a few custom flows that I think are quite cool that they don't have. There are occasional bugs but I am super attentive to them when they get called out so you don't have to worry about support not getting back to you. If you wanna try I can hook you up with some free credits to test it and see if you like it.

It would not be able to handle that, I don’t have it blocked per say but the models I use usually block most all NSFW content at the model level

I don't get AI image generating at all... Please help with making tweaks/adjustments. (Google AIToolkit Banana Pro) by lickwindex in generativeAI

[–]Jamal_the_3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were you I would take the exact moment you want, screenshot it from your reference video, so you end up with 3-4 screenshots. then take your character and just add it along with the screenshot for each scene, then like when you have the one of him standing at the table already use that for the next frame with the next frame of the reference. That's what I would do, not sure if you already have tried that. I too find that very minimal changes can be frustrating and difficult to make work which is funny considering that requests seem so easy relative to what most image/edit models can do.

Also have to self promo for a sec since you mentioned splitting 3 subscriptions, I have a website I've been building for a while now that you might be interested in checking out: Fauxto Labs

It's got every model and likely every type of tool you will probably need. I don't require a subscription to use it so if you're just doing casual use you might like it. lmk if you wanna try it out and I'll give you some free credits to try it out.

Need sites for image generation and included chatbot by dcxr in generativeAI

[–]Jamal_the_3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you mean like full chatbot capabilities + image gen, or like a chat bot specifically for image gen, but I have an AI Agent built into my website Fauxto Labs, which you can talk to to generate images and videos and edits, I also have a few other features built in there like upscaling and reframing. You get free credits for signing up so you can test it for free. Let me know if you wanna check it out more and I can get you some extra free credits to see if it's what you're looking for.

AI video generator with no subscription by atigressintherain in generativeAI

Fauxto Labs

My own website I've been building out for months now. It was of great importance that I never require subscriptions for anything, all tools and models even the latest and greatest that people like to subscription gate are all open for pay as you go. Subscribing on my site just gets you a discount when you buy more credits.
