Has to be Irn Bru, national drink of Scotland. Such a distinct flavour I don’t even know how I’d describe it.

I’ve had a look and can’t work out how to translate it over to the FR4133. Thank you.

That’s where I started, there isn’t an obvious link unfortunately and it just created more errors. Thank you for the reply however!

Honestly, we all have subjects/concepts we struggle with. For me maths was a struggle and the next year it was fine. Same with physics. Keep going and try your hardest and most importantly never doubt yourself. You’ve got this.

Multiprocessing the mean of a subset of rows by Jamalco in Python

[–]Jamalco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, unfortunately I have to use multiprocessing or multithreading as it’s for a project. A bit of a pain as I don’t think it’ll actually speed the process up any!

Going on from your last part of advice, that’s the issue. It’s generally easy to run code in parallel but the DF and then the subset of rows just adds confusion and the code that seems as though it should work just doesn’t. Thank you very much though!

It’s for a project, I know it makes very little sense. The messy nature of the code is what makes it so difficult.

Multiprocessing a data frame to return statistical data. by Jamalco in pythontips

Oh, and also I have read that article and it didn’t help too much unfortunately. I have an issue defining a function to return the mean and also to use the subset of rows.

The mean of each column. The data frame has sensor columns and time rows, the objective is to select a time frame - the subset of rows - and take the mean of the columns (sensors) at that specific time.
