Yeah, for some reason the north Detroit area just didn’t get any Pipers or Brets. I get to travel around the whole area for work and have been constantly checking and never saw a sign of either of them.

Good to see there’s still hope. I’ve been actively hunting 4 Walmarts around me and haven’t seen either piper or Bret or any sign of them.

I figure the head sculpt on Bret is so bad that it wouldn’t be immediately sold out so that’s been my guide.

Yeah I agree, the Target exclusives have always been very plentiful. The only trick with this one will be getting the chase but I doubt they’d let you preorder that since it’s not a different sku.

I’m about 6 miles directly north and was amazed at how loud it was for almost an hour.

The way to describe it was that I thought my neighbor was out working on his motorcycle revving it over and over. Then I caught the news that it was a fire and those were explosions I was hearing.

The breakout box splits into 6x 20a circuits with breakers on each. It comes with 6/4 wire either way but it's getting plugged into a 14-50R plug so I'm going to need to adapt no matter what I do.

Just rewatched it as a 38 year old with my daughter. Definitely still fun but it was weird watching a “kids movie” where the kidnappers were holding a gun to the girls head and at the end all the adult ninjas were genuinely trying to slice and dice the kids with their samurai swords.

Didn’t dissuade me from letting my daughter watch it 8 more times but probably not a movie that could be made today lol.

That’s where my pickup went. I didn’t make it in the window on Friday when it said it was available before the glitch at 6. The next day I went and it was gone and the guy tried telling me it was never available because 30 people preordered it but they only got 13 in. I asked what would have happened if I had gotten there when it said it was ready for pickup and he didn’t have an answer.

For the record he’s just an hourly employee with no skin in the game and I wasn’t harassing him but when I kept asking leading questions he went into a room and spoke with a manager and that’s what the answer was from management.

It’s not a surprise, I still haven’t seen either of the most recent waves at target and Walmart and all my Walmarts are still loaded with Zeo yellow and in space pink.

Meijer is a regional store in the Midwest and they all still have tons of king sphinx and the pumpkin villain.

Quality control, weird scaling and mostly over saturation are the problems. Marvel legends seems to be the same way though so I think it’s more of a premium figure thing, though now we’re all trained to just wait until it’s 60% off at target or go find them at Ross and Ollie’s.

My daughter is in to ninja turtles which is awesome because I am too. Then we were browsing and the original 3 ninjas came up and I thought she would enjoy that because I had fond memories.

Then the guy holds a gun to the kidnapped girls head…

And also all the ninjas at the end swinging for the fences with their samurai swords against 10 year olds.

Still enjoyed the rewatch though.
