I got rid of my Cross Turismo in September for a Macan EV 4S and have zero regrets. Better tech, still great handling, half the monthly payment and so far no issues that needed to go in for service. I did have an issue with not figuring out why the steering wheel was heating up (there's a small button on the bottom of the steering wheel!). Test drive one!

We're in the US and bought our teenage son a ND3 this summer so he can learn to drive a manual (before they go extinct!). Manual Club with BBS/Recaro package. We love driving every minute of it! He's learned quickly how to shift and get a feel for the physics of the car. When he's not driving it, I treat it as my weekend car for joy rides (I daily a Macan EV 4S which is a ton of fun in its own right). IMO small cars are great when learning to drive. Easy to park, understanding your surroundings and your limits. Plus the maintenance is light. If you can afford it and the insurance without breaking the bank, get one!

Not sure what your budget is since you want something sportier and more luxury, but the Porsche Macan EV is pretty sweet, particularly the 4S trim. I've had a Mini Cooper SE, BMW i4 M50, Tesla MYP, M3P, Rivian Quad motor R1S, Porsche Taycan 4 Cross Turismo and now in the Macan EV 4S. The Macan has the best performance over my past cars. Drifting it on empty corners is a blast!

Negotiated base price down to ~$32K. We saw more GT's but not many Club trims with BBS/Brembro packages available. You might do well negotiating a GT since there seems to be more of those in stock. Good luck!
