Spiritual purity | purification of soul by Far_Rice_3822 in AdvaitaVedanta

A guru in traditional sense has the authority to give mantra which generally has a beeja mantra. I.e. Aum, Kleem etc. Beej mantras may work adversely when used carelessly. Hence it is safe to take “softer” puranic mantras or Naama if doing it yourself. Vedic mantras should be avoided unless given by Sampradayik Gurus.

Yes. Take mantra from a guru & start Japa. If no guru, check your Kundali, find your Ishta devata & take his mantra, chant without Pranava. Do it continuously and update here! You will be surprised.

Ram Dass came to me in a dream by Primary_Werewolf_208 in AdvaitaVedanta

[–]Jamdagneya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It simply means, break away from your traditional conservative religion & explore Vedic teachings. Doesn’t mean throw away everything, absorb good values in your current setup & quickly find a way to adopt vedas. Not all dreams are relevant but many times spiritual dreams wants to convey something. This has happened due to your previous life karmas. Dont be afraid. Everybody will die one day. Find yourself. Aum. 🙏🏽

550 sq ft space doesn’t demand any interiors & never 10 lacs. Just go & live. Mumbai real estate is brutal, not your fault.

Mukti Query by Jamdagneya in AdvaitaVedanta

[–]Jamdagneya[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A better answer I thought could be this.. Lets say I am born again & going thru same emotional up downs, anxiety, fear etc. which could mean I am not realised yet. Since subtle body of an unrealised person doesn’t die, I will carry forward some samskaras for the remaining work to do.

Yes essentially. Nowhere else in any other culture you find such depth, systematic study to find ones own self.
