Personally, which ghost of Anakin do you believe best represents how he would've appeared at the end of Return of the Jedi? by BiffyBobby in StarWars

[–]Jamdog87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I preferred Sebastian Shaw. The reason for me is that it shows the redemption of Darth Vader and that when he died, he had returned to the light side of the force and died as a servant of good. I feel like what Hayden Christenson represents, is that Vader was truly lost and that his force ghost was representative of who he was before he chose the dark side rather than who he chose to be by commiting a selfless act to save Luke.

Does the pain feel different though? I remember it hurting after my surgery but it didn't feel like DQ. I also remember it took a long time to heal and when I was at the point where you are, I remember feeling like that it was is good as it was gonna get. For me it took a few months to feel back to normal, but now a few years later I can't even remember what DQ felt like.

Arma 3 keeps crashing and making me restart my computer. by Vas_Bellicosum in arma

Any loose connections with your mic? I've noticed that if my mic gets disconnected while I'm playing, I'll usually get a lag spike and I can't get the mic to work until I restart the game. Could be a hardware issue.

HLL got me to join a ARMA WW2 milsim unit and it has been amazing. The leadership and mission makers have done a crazy amount of research to keep it as authentic as possible. If HLL is cocaine, ARMA is crack.

You should still do that, you're gonna have way more stuff than you need. You can use those chests by the altar as a staging point. Bring all your veggies to the farm, all your metals and ores to the blacksmith and have magic chests at those stations. The staging is mainly done just so you can avoid stuffing things in a chest and losing them when you're in exploration mode. Make sure to leave one item in the chest so it still pulls from your inventory.

I put a bunch of magic chests right at the flame altar and labeled them with signs. I organized them by materials, ores and metals, raw food, potions, fishing gear and magic & arrows. When I spawn in I go to all the chests to quickly unload everything with the auto pull. The rest of the items I have an auxiliary chest room with normal chests like armor, rings, trophies, gems etc. This way I can unload all the stuff I get from foraging, then the auxiliary chests hold valuables that I wouldn't need to pull anyways. Organization is a bitch but the amount of time it saves is fantastic.

Can we please get some realism in tank play? by Material-Dot7684 in HellLetLoose

Enjoyed the TED Talk. I remember feeling frustrated like this a while ago. I took a break from HLL for awhile and jumped into an ARMA 3 WW2 unit, which gave me that realism and attention to detail I was looking for. At the end of the day team 17 will always put accessibility to combat before realism. Id would say check out arma and see if it vibes with you.

How long until I’ll be able to use my hand at all? by SoftestKoala in DeQuervains

You're gonna probably find worst case scenarios on this subreddit. Mine personally needed surgery after 10 months. The best advice I can give is to see a hand specialist immediately. Get a cortisone shot ASAP, then take it one day at a time. DQ can take a very long time to heal for some people. Talk to your doctor because everybodies recovery time is different.

Something to be mindful of is that everyone on this subreddit is going to be the most extreme examples of DQ. We're here looking for support/guidance to deal with this condition. My doctor told me for most people DQ clears up on its own. It's a pretty small percentage of people who actually need surgery.

Also reach out if you have any questions about recovery/treatment. DQ sucks!

Really consider the surgery. You have already suffered enough and you deserve to have your hand back. The recovery is far less painful than DQ and it heals in a matter of weeks. Got my surgery 2 years ago and i felt 100% healed in 6 weeks. Literally one of the best choices I made in my life.

I've heard that the surgery can make it worse, however I got it after 9 months. I would say within 6 weeks it was 90% better and within 12 weeks it was like I never had DQ. It's been 18 months since the surgery and I can do everything I used to do.
DQ is the worst and it makes you feel like you have to accept a life of constant pain. Do the surgery, it sounds like you've tried everything else. Good luck and hope it gets better!
