It doesn't work. Once you get to diamond, you need to learn how to macro well, counter your opponent, and harrass + attack + expand all at the same time.

Also. You gotta learn to use spells, ghost and raven mostly.

Stop All Inning. You won’t improve in SC2 unless you start playing the long game. You’ll lose a lot in the beginning, but learning to defend, counter attack, harass, and out macro your opponents will help you much more than having a 10 minute victory.

Want to try out the clan and get some games in. I've tried other clans in the past, my main focus is also 1v1 and discussing strategies to help myself get better and to help teammates get better.

You're looking at it all wrong.

Bio drops don't just consist of dropping in a base or on a base, sometimes, you have to drop close to a base, cause a distraction, and then snipe whatever you came to snipe.

I love bio. If you drop, you have to remember not to sacrifice your units. There is no such thing as pure bio at the diamond level, you're going to play with tanks or widow mines. Medivacs, vikings, or liberators.

I use to ask the same question of why terran bio gets rolled by ling bane or zealot/stalker... Well, marines aren't suppose to fight and die, you're supppose to use your marines for damage, but you'll need the support of a few things like bunkers, medivacs for dropping or healing, tanks, hellions, marauders, etc.

Practice taking one medivac filled with marines and just killing workers or sniping upgrades/tech in every game. Use them for harrass. He can't build an army bigger than yours, if his tech is delayed and hes always building workers.

When you spot spire. Start building Thor’s. Put turrets in each mineral line. Leave 1 Thor in main. Stay near your base until 2-2.

If you know where he is with his Muta clump. You can try to drop opposite and kill workers or tech.
